I remember a time when, I was the joke of the whole soccer team in primary school.I couldn't receive a pass. I had difficulty passing the ball.
Shooting? Oh i sucked at that. And i was slow.
Zul and Syafi were the so called partners-in -crime duo.
They laughed and so it spread to the other boys.
Kept showing off their skills in front of me. HAHA i even cried at some points.
POOR ME. I didn't make it to the soccer 1st team in Primary4.
HAHAHA I sucked too bad i guess. I wasn't even participating much.
Screw that. I played and played and played with the ball so many times.
The ball was my bestest friend ever. And soon i was equal or even better than them.
I still honestly think that by P6, i was the best in the whole clique of malay boys.
Excluding Ridzwan. HAHA he's darn good!
But he wasn't in our clique.
They never laughed at me again in P5 and P6.
Instead, they always wanted my on the team.
I'd be playing the free role. Running and being where i wanted, when i wanted.
And I won games for the teams i played in.
Hmm, To play well when you're older,
Development needs to be assured in your younger days.
Haven't been playing much. Weekly only.
