I am Feeling uneasy.
While most are asleep, Here I sit.
I think, of how times have changed.
Nowadays, with the introduction of large-scale internet just about everywhere,
through high-tech gadgets such as laptops and web-roaming phones,
People have lost many things.
They've become lazy.
To go out with friends.
Go out with family.
Do sports.
Visit the library.
Read.
Our lives have so much as become automatic.
We've become slaves to machines.
(Who the hell takes the elevator nowadays?)
Even all of the 13storeys of my block is elevator-ready.
Relationships.
Online, they blog and chat with each other but,
Are they really spending time?
Going through good and bad together?
In the past, close relationships, best friends,
Were forged when two went through much together.
Now, just about anyone and everyone online says,
''BFF''
Yeah, best friends on facebook, rather.
Cut the crap. You'll realise you don't even really know that person well.
And with this, You'll see a lot of conflicts.
Bestfriends don't last. They get new ones, forget the old.
They don't spend time with each other.
Time, is the essence.
Out of the 50 odd friends you have,
Surely there has to be one or a few you spend the most time with?
Rather, nowadays, our lives are associated with so many different people.
We chat with multiple people online.
In the end, we befriend other people we didn't know online.
And grow close to them and call them ''BESTFRIEND/GOODFRIEND ETC''
WHAT THE FUCK,
HAPPENED TO THOSE WHO HAD GONE THROUGH SO MUCH WITH YOU?
Who in the world,with a week or so being friends with you,
Replaced another that put you before himself for years?
More and more people are turning blind.
They've lost the sense to VALUE.
The unsung heroes.
Worst of all, they don't realise it.
Their lives are pretty much mostly ruled by the computer screen.
''Hey wanna go out?''
''Nah, lazy.''
''Hey let's go play football''
''Nah. Don't feel like it.''
Times have changed.
All my brother ever did was play football with his friends.
That and going out.
Heck, there wasn't good Internet ten years back.
There was no Facebook.
Youtube.
Even friendster was in like, 2003
We've all become lazy.
Even if you refuse to believe me, dismiss my factual opinions as
bullshit,
crap,
it offends you
and your beliefs,
You know I'm right.
It's very true.
And,
Very current.
